SoDUS partnered with Core 3 entertainment in the creation and production of The Style Network’s first original series Fashion Bloggers.
Fashion Bloggers follows the fast-paced lives of Australia’s top independent bloggers of fashion, beauty and style. Over the course of a few months, SoDUS documented the lives of Amanda Shadforth, Kate Waterhouse, Margaret Zhang, Sara Donaldson and Zanita Whittington – their careers, their creativity and even their craziness – to create an 8 part original series.
Front rows, A-list industry events, photo shoots and celebrity meetings clashed with university studies, business deals and family life, creating juggling acts of stylish proportions.
Throughout the series, our bloggers (and SoDUS) mixed with names such as Diane
Von Furstenberg, Giuliana Rancic, Nicky Zimmerman, Alex Perry, Dion Lee, the Missoni family and Kim Kardashian. We were also treated to film in spectacular locations such as Byron Bay, Noosa and a once-in-lifetime experience at Hamilton Island’s Qualia.
Fashion Bloggers was the first original series commissioned by NBC Universal Australia’s Style Channel, airing on both Style Channel and E! Channel. The series also went on to air across Asia, the UK and France. Back home, Fashion Bloggers was recognised by the local TV industry, up for a nomination in the Logie’s Most Popular Reality Series category.
Due to the success of Season One, Season Two has been commissioned and once again SoDUS will be mixing it with the fab and famous to document our talented blogger’s lives.
